Background: Valhar Drakenhart is the decendant of a family line that were among the first of the Zal'mur to escape the wildlands and the effects of the Atreezu shrines. Being of that line he and his family is very well aquainted with the Drauwl royalty within Mt. Golag who trace back to Underking Galinthir who is one of the lords who served under the Drauwl king who gave the Zal'mur refuge within the sanctuary. Valhar was raised in a very poor family despite their friendship with the royal family and as such he had to learn to take care of himself. This sometimes meant using underhanded, roguish means to provide for himself and his family. In addition to his skills developed as a rogue, Valhar also learned how to fight from Seiru Calikh, a fellow Zal'mur who lived not far from him in the sanctuary. Seiru has long since been a close friend and mentor, and has given Valhar the inspiration to travel abroad and explore the many wonders of the world of Auldrun.
